The Gady Family group of companies in southern Styria now holds a 27 percent stake in CORE smartwork as a minority shareholer. The minority shareholder Catalysts GmbH, a German-Austrian software specialist, now operates under the name Cloudflight and continues to hold ten percent. Gurten, 26 January 2021 – CORE smartwork, the number one in employee relationship management, has a new shareholder. The Gady Family is a family business with a long tradition in southern Styria. It is one of the leading car dealerships in southern Austria and one of the largest agricultural machinery dealers in the country. A newspaper publishing house and a traditional pub in Leibnitz are also part of the group, which employs around 330 people at 13 locations. It is managed in the third generation by proprietor and managing director Philipp Gady together with managing director Eugen Roth.
"CORE smartwork is an integral and indispensable part of the Gady Family's corporate communications," says Philipp Gady. "When the opportunity arose, an investment in CORE smartwork was the natural next strategic step for us." The Gady Family holds a 27 percent stake in CORE smartwork.

German software competence

Cloudflight is a German-Austrian digital and cloud service provider. The company was formed in 2019 from the merger of Linz-based software specialist Catalysts, a founding member of CORE smartwork, and Kassel-based IT consultancy and analysis company Crisp Research. More than 400 employees work for the company, which is based in Munich, at 18 locations in Europe.
"We create exceptional solutions and software that moves," says Eike-Christian Frerichs-Reich, CFO of Cloudflight GmbH.

Cloudflight holds a ten percent stake in CORE smartwork. Michaela Keim, Managing Director of CORE smartwork, is delighted: "Together we are developing and realising a successful future in which communication is becoming increasingly important." Fill Machine Engineering, a founding member of CORE smartwork, remains the majority shareholder of the company, with Andreas Fill as managing partner.

The other reason is that fresh faces have been recruited and are currently being actively sought.
