CORE app Update: easy communication thanks to new chat function

CORE provides customers with a reliable employee app that facilitates communication and organization across spatial and temporal boundaries.
The Upper Austrian company is constantly developing its app to ensure that CORE customers not only keep pace with technical developments, but are also one step ahead. The most recent update features an integrated chat function that guarantees fast communication and complete data security. The future of HR and what is important when it comes to employer branding - CORE smartwork will be providing information and discussing this as an exhibitor at the "TALENTpro" trade fair in Munich. The areas of recruiting, talent management and employer branding come together at the expo festival.
A solution with guaranteed data security
Data security is a top priority for CORE smartwork. "With Chat in CORE, companies get a solution that lets them know exactly where their data is located: either on their own server or in our secure cloud," emphasizes Strauß. In contrast to other providers, the data therefore remains with the customer and is not stored on servers overseas or in Asia.
Users can post gifs, smileys and reactions, send attachments and edit, delete and send messages. This means that employee chat groups created in other apps are now superfluous. "When developing the app, we pay attention not only to data security but also to the individual wishes of our customers. With the chat function, we have implemented another request from our users," explains Strauß.
The all-round talent for employee communication
Other new features include an optimized mobile view and improved menu navigation. The CORE app has also been developed from a notification app into a native application that enables seamless use on all devices. With the new app, it is also possible to create your own customized app with logo, name and welcome screen.
For many HR managers, CORE is the perfect alternative to the often dysfunctional intranet. "We've had an incredible amount of positive feedback on the new app," reports Strauß. The software developers are currently working on additional features such as confidential chats and an admin assistant.
