Patrick Strauß has been the new managing director of CORE smartwork since the beginning of the year. The long-standing technical expert at CORE takes over the position from Andreas Fill, who continues to accompany the company as managing partner.
Gurten, 18th January 2023 – Patrick Strauß started in project management at CORE smartwork in 2018. He knows the product, the customers and the team. With the beginning of January 2023, he has taken over the management. Versed technical know-how and a central role in product development in the past years distinguish him. He was mainly responsible for coordinating the system update from CORE 1.0 to CORE 2.0 in the past two years. At the same time, he managed the technical support and completed a bachelor's degree in software engineering at the FH Hagenberg. Now he is taking the next step: "Management is a new challenge that I am very much looking forward to. I would like to thank Andreas Fill and my team for the trust they have placed in me," says Strauß.
Change is the engine of success
Thus, Patrick Strauß will be managing the company's fortunes together with Andreas Fill in the future. Fill is also managing director of the mechanical engineering company of the same name in Gurten. In the fall of 2022, he decided to hand over the management of CORE smartwork. "With Patrick Strauß, I have found a successor who is young, dynamic and experienced at the same time. He is the right man for the further development of CORE smartwork," says Andreas Fill. He himself remains active in the company as managing director and in sales. "Team up - that applies to CORE smartwork and to us as a management team," says Patrick Strauß happily.

Over the past ten years, CORE smartwork has developed enormously. Currently, the company employs eleven people and the product has 19 modules in the areas of communication, organization, and personnel management and development. CORE smartwork is currently used as a communication and organization platform in 16 countries worldwide and is used in 13 languages. The Employer Branding Forum is the company's annual event highlight: on November 9, 2023, it will take place for the sixth time in Gurten, Upper Austria.
