Following a strong 2025:
CORE smartwork is focusing on expanding its development and customer success management teams

 

2025 was a resounding success for CORE smartwork. The Gurten based company, which supports companies and organizations in HR, communication and organization with its all-in-one solution CORE, was able to continue its growth trajectory and recoreded significant customer growth. Companies from a wide range of industries – from small businesses to industrial conglomerates – now rely on the app from Upper Austria.


Gurten, 21.04.2026 – „2025 has shown us that the demand for integrated HR and internal communication solutions, as well as a positive employee experience, continues to grow—especially in challenging times,” says Patrick Strauß, CEO of CORE smartwork. “It was clear to us: We are investing right now in an even stronger product and in the quality of the support we provide to our clients.”

Specifically, CORE smartwork is expanding its team with three new developers and an additional position on the Customer Success Team. Product Owner and Head of Technology, Marie-Luise Prey, is convinced: “Issues such as the shortage of skilled workers, hybrid work models, and rising demands on employers make it clear: solutions like CORE are not a ‘nice-to-have,’ but a central component of modern organizations and, at the same time, a competitive advantage.”

Customer Success instead of Project Completion

A key component of the current investment strategy is the continued expansion of in-house development. “The close relationship between our development team and our customers is crucial for us,” explains Marie-Luise Prey. “This is the only way we can respond quickly to requirements, implement feedback directly, and continuously improve our product.”

At the same time, CORE smartwork is specifically strengthening its Customer Success division. This deliberately goes beyond traditional project management: the goal is to support customers over the long term and ensure their success with the platform. From onboarding and implementation to ongoing development, the team helps companies sustainably improve their employee communication and employee experience. “For us, the collaboration doesn’t end with the go-live,” emphasizes Patrick Strauß. “We see ourselves as a long-term partner—and that’s exactly what our customers value.”

Everything in one solution and from a single source

CORE is a modular all-in-one platform that can be used as an employee app or a comprehensive digital workplace. Unlike many competitors that cover only specific areas, CORE combines HR, communication, and organization into a single system. This reduces licensing costs and simplifies day-to-day use: one system, one support team, and no isolated siloed solutions.
