3rd CORE Community Talk
Strengthen the network, find out about updates, provide meaning
For the first time since the coronavirus, face-to-face networking took place at the recent CORE Community Talk. Around 40 customers and business partners took advantage of this opportunity at the Fill Future Dome in Gurten. The focus here was on the new features of CORE 2.0, the latest system update of the employee relationship management software, best-practice examples for using CORE smartwork as well as intensive relationship management.
Gurten, 08 July 2021 – "For the first time we held the CORE Community Talk separately from the Employer Branding Forum," explains Andreas Fill, managing partner of CORE smartwork. "This was due to the fact that we couldn't stage this event last autumn because of the coronavirus. Therefore we knew that it was high time to meet our customers and partners face-to-face again," above all because the latest version of CORE smartwork has been rolled out this summer. In addition to providing information about the software update, the CORE Community Talk 2021 focussed on one thing in particular: cultivating contacts and relationships – personally and directly. "We interpreted our guiding principle 'Connect employees. Provide meaning!‘ in this case to mean “Connect customers and CORE employees and provide meaning!’," says Fill.
Fresh field reports
At the event, three companies presented their CORE instances and reported on their successful migration to the new system. Plant Manager Thomas Windsperger and Marketing Manager Juliana Eder from NeWo Sonnen- und Insektenschutz GmbH in Munderfing showed the adaptation with the new corporate design. Carina Ratzenböck, Human Resources Manager at Reform-Werke in Wels, provided information on the initial deployment for more than 500 employees at three locations. And Andreas Fill presented CORE 2.0 for his company Fill Machine Engineering. "We'll enable access for every employee later this year using their own smartphones. This will ensure widespread use."
Body language matters
To round off the afternoon, body language expert Monika Matschnig gave a lecture on her specialist field. Her humorous and interactive talk addressed the dos and don'ts of contact with people and showed which politician you can learn something from in terms of body language – and which one you might not want to take as a role model. "The event was a complete success," says Fill. "The whole CORE team is looking forward to the Employer Branding Forum on 18 November 2021, where customers and interested parties can reconnect."
